Mom's 90th Birthday in Chicago

This last December, we celebrated my Mother's 90th birthday with a party in Chicago.  The event reminded of why we founded the O'Malley Foundation.  My Mother, Phyllis O'Malley, dedicated a big part of her life to supporting education in our community (Mound, MN), offering her smarts to worthy causes and helping those in need.  Her inspiration was the genesis of the O'Malley Foundation and I felt compelled to do a better job of documenting the good work that has been done in her honor.  As such, we've created this website to create greater awareness.

I hope that all the recipients of the Thomas and Phyllis O'Malley Scholarship are either doing well in college or onto successful careers.  Time passes so fast.  Just seems like yesterday that we awarded our first scholarship to Michael Younes.  I extend my congratulations to all of you and wish you and your families the very best.  I'm sure your life achievements would all make my mother very proud.
